Break and Steal an Egg Tier List
This is a priority tier list, not an animal power ranking. Break and Steal an Egg gates every zone behind a Speed number, so the honest question is not "which pet is best" but "what should my next run actually be". The tiers below rank the nine zones and the five upgrade decisions against that question. Animal and egg income tiers are deliberately absent: no verified income or weight values are published for this game, and inventing them would produce a ranking that looks authoritative and is not.

Methodology
- Ranking axis one: the Speed gate. Every zone has a published Speed requirement, so the tier reflects how much treadmill time stands between you and that zone rather than a subjective opinion.
- Ranking axis two: turnaround. Zones you can already enter and clear in one trip score higher than zones that only become efficient after several more upgrades.
- Ranking axis three: what the upgrade actually changes. Treadmill levels change your Speed gain, trails multiply it, pickaxes change how fast an egg breaks, and pen levels change how many animals and how much offline Cash you keep.
- Not ranked: animal power, egg income, hatch odds, mutation multipliers and trading value. None of those have a published or independently reproducible number for this experience, so they cannot be ordered honestly.
- Single-source caveat: the zone Speed gates and the treadmill, trail, pickaxe and merge rules below come from named third-party guide pages, not from a developer-published table. They are listed as Cross-source, and every number should be re-confirmed in your own client before you spend Cash or Robux on the back of them.
- This list is reviewed when the Speed table, the upgrade shops or the zone order change.

Do this first
Forest zone
Zone · Speed gate 5. The only zone a brand-new account can attempt immediately, and the right place to learn the whole loop: break an egg, take the animal, get past the guardian, bank it. Cheap to repeat, so mistakes here cost seconds rather than minutes.

Desert zone
Zone · Speed gate 1,000. Still within a short treadmill session of a fresh account, and it is the first real step up in egg size. This is where the treadmill habit starts paying for itself.
Cross-source
Treadmill levels
Upgrade · Level 1 gives +1 Speed per step, and each level raises both the Speed you gain and the price of the next level. Because Speed gates every zone, treadmill levels are the upgrade that unlocks the entire rest of the game.

Your first trail
Upgrade · A trail multiplies the Speed you gain while training, which is a fundamentally different lever from treadmill levels. The strongest listed trail is Moonlight at a 10,000x multiplier for 100T Cash or 359 Robux. Guidance points to buying a trail before a second pickaxe, because it compounds every treadmill step.

Strong next step
Snowy zone
Zone · Speed gate 50,000. A clear mid-game target. Reaching it is realistic within a normal session once your treadmill and first trail are running, and the eggs are a visible step above Desert.

Candy zone
Zone · Speed gate 750,000. The last zone that still feels like a normal progression step rather than a dedicated grind, and usually the point where players settle into a farm loop.
Cross-source
Pickaxe power
Upgrade · Pickaxes are bought from the Pickaxe Shop inside the Safe Zone. You start with a Wooden Pickaxe at 1 Power, and higher Power breaks eggs faster. Worth buying, but it does not change which zones you can reach, so it comes after Speed.

B
Worth it once the basics are running
Swamp zone
Zone · Speed gate 12,000,000. This is where progression stops being casual. Expect to spend real time on the treadmill and to need an escape plan that survives a determined guardian.
Cross-source
Ocean zone
Zone · Speed gate 150,000,000. A long-haul zone. Only worth pushing for once your trail multiplier is actually carrying your treadmill output, otherwise the gate cost outruns your income.

Pen capacity and upgrades
Upgrade · You start with room for 8 animals, and pen upgrades raise capacity and income. Animals also keep earning Cash while you are offline, so capacity is what converts a long break into a payday rather than wasted time.
Cross-source
Animal Merging
Upgrade · Submit three animals of the same species to the Animal Merging machine and you get an egg that hatches a heavier variant of that species. There is no daily limit, so duplicates have somewhere to go, but it needs a duplicate stock before it does anything.

C
Endgame commitment
Hell zone
Zone · Speed gate 1,000,000,000. Endgame territory. Treat this as a multi-session goal and a multiplier problem, not a matter of grinding one more treadmill level.
Cross-source
Blossom zone
Zone · Speed gate 5,000,000,000. Another five-fold jump on top of Hell, which is the clearest sign that past this point the trail multiplier is the deciding factor.
