Getting started
Your first six moves
- 1Walk onto the treadmill in front of your base and stay there until your Speed passes the Forest gate of 5.
- 2Enter Forest, equip your pickaxe, left-click an egg, then press E to take the animal.
- 3Run straight back to your base without stopping, and place the animal in your pen to start earning Cash.
- 4Spend your first Cash on treadmill levels, not a pickaxe, so the next zone gate starts closing.
- 5Claim the free group reward: like the game on Roblox, join ILGames x Eggs, then look for the claim prompt in game.
- 6Stop searching for codes. There is no redeem menu, and any list claiming otherwise is guessing.
Quick answers to the usual questions
Are there any Break and Steal an Egg codes?
No working codes exist as of 1 October 2026, because the experience has no code redemption menu to enter them into. The free reward that does exist is the like-and-join group reward described on the codes page.
What should I upgrade first?
Treadmill levels. Speed gates every zone, while pickaxe Power only speeds up eggs inside zones you have already unlocked. A trail comes next, because it multiplies the Speed you gain from every treadmill level you buy afterwards.
Why can I enter a zone but not steal from it?
Zones are open to explore, but stealing is gated behind the zone's Speed requirement. If your Speed is below the gate the guardian will catch you and you will drop the animal, however good your route is.
Is Break and Steal an Egg the same as Steal an Egg?
No, and this is the most common mix-up around the game. Steal an Egg launched on 25 July 2026 and is a different experience by a different developer. Break and Steal an Egg launched on 5 September 2026 and is made by ILGames x Eggs.
